I. Refund
Policy
Our clients tell us that our career services exceed their expectations
and provide great value. In the event that you are not satisfied
with the delivery of our services, we will work with you in good
faith until you are satisfied or until services have been delivered
as promised according to our highest standards of quality and
excellence.
A. Individual Career Services
No refunds are available on resume, cover letter, or interview
and negotiation skill preparation once work is in progress. Because
our coaching services are consumed at the time and point of delivery,
we regret that we cannot offer refunds after a completed coaching
session.
B. Career Service Packages
Due to the personalized nature of our services and commitment
to our clients, considerable time and effort are put into the
expedient and successful delivery of our services. If a refund
is requested for a career service package and the delivery of
the career services has already commenced with the client, the
client will be charged 50% of the total career package price plus
a $100 service cancellation fee. After a cancellation has taken
place, any services that have commenced with the client or are
in progress will cease. Unfortunately, due to the termination
of the service agreement by the client, Thomas & Associates
will no longer deliver or complete any services in progress.
Refunds are issued within 30 days of purchase. No refunds will
be issued after 30 days from the date of purchase. Any other request
for refunds not articulated in this policy will be decided by
the discretion of Thomas & Associates, Inc.
II. Payment of Services
Payment of all career services by credit card or valid check is
due in full at time of order placement and before delivery of
career services commences. Client agrees s/he is responsible for
full payment of total charges for work performed and any associated
cancellation fee(s).
Thomas & Associates, Inc. encourages clients to receive our
services as soon as possible after the order date and advises
that estimates and prices are good for 60 days from the time of
order placement. Current prices apply if an order is "shelved"
and resumed after 60 days. Alterations or changes may result in
additional fees, which will be discussed/disclosed prior to delivery
of the career service(s).
III. Review & Revisions
Final proofreading of resume and cover letter is the responsibility
of the client. Service fees paid by the client include one-time
review and evaluation of document(s), feedback from the client
in a timely manner, and final review of the document(s) once client
has made revisions. Changes following final review/revision will
be charged at our standard hourly rate of $70.00 per hour. Should
an error be discovered following initial client review/ proofreading/
approval, Thomas & Associates, Inc. will correct and replace
at no charge.
Client understands and agrees that Thomas & Associates, Inc.
will not confirm or attempt to verify information provided by
Client, and Thomas & Associates, Inc. will not be responsible
for accuracy or truthfulness of information provided by Client.
Client will hold Thomas & Associates, Inc. harmless from claims
by third parties based on any inaccuracy of information in the
resume and/or cover letters created by Thomas & Associates,
Inc.
IV. Intellectual Property Rights
Thomas & Associates, Inc. retains intellectual property ownership
of all work produced. Each piece is carefully composed to ensure
individuals are marketed effectively based on distinctive characteristics.
Clients are permitted to reproduce additional copies via facsimile,
scanner, printer or photocopier, and can alter their own documents.
They are not permitted to transfer ownership to another person
or permit them to use the document as a template. This policy
protects the integrity and quality of our professional writing,
our clients' right to have an individually crafted resume and
a potential third party from an unsuccessful marketing strategy
that has not had the benefit of being modeled on their skills
and experience.
V. Warranties & Liabilities
Thomas & Associates, Inc. does not guarantee job placement
or employment success. Our clients’ successes are directly
dependent upon the effort, commitment and diligence they put into
fully integrating our career services with their job search strategies.
Thomas & Associates, Inc.’s goal is to provide the best
possible career services for each of our clients. It is the responsibility
of the client, and indeed in the client's best interests, to supply
us with all requested information and to work collaboratively
with us to deliver services that reflects their individuality
and highlights their career assets. Thomas & Associates, Inc.
strongly encourages active client participation in this process
to achieve the best outcome possible for all concerned.
The client understands that if there is a preference on the client's
part to use their work email or employer's computer for career
communications with Thomas & Associates, Inc. they (the client)
will be solely responsible for any possible repercussions from
such action, including dismissal by their employer. Thomas &
Associates, Inc. holds no responsibility for any possible repercussions
from such action, including dismissal by their employer surrounding
the possibility of their actions being discovered by parties,
other than the intended recruiters and/or potential employers.
V. Confidentiality
Thomas & Associates, Inc. respects your privacy. Any and all
information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential
and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed.
Thomas & Associates, Inc. will not at any time, either directly
or indirectly, use for its personal benefit or disclose, or communicate
in any manner any information that is pertaining to its clients.
All your information will be kept strictly confidential. This
provision shall remain effective even after the termination of
all agreements and projects. Upon termination of agreements, Thomas
& Associates, Inc. will return all documentation, records
or other items that were used or created by Thomas & Associates,
Inc. for its clients during the term of our agreement.
VI. Your Contact Details
Any information you give to Thomas & Associates, Inc. will
be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that
you have not consented to. Thomas & Associates, Inc. will
ask you when information is needed that personally identify you
or allow us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested
when you are requesting information or hiring Thomas & Associates,
Inc. services. Personal information collected by Thomas &
Associates, Inc. often is limited to email address, country or
location, but may include other information when needed to provide
a service you requested. For example, if you choose a service
or transaction that requires payment, such as making a purchase
enquiry, Thomas & Associates, Inc. will request personal information
necessary for billing and/or shipping, such as: name, address,
telephone number, and credit card number.
VII. Secure Online Transactions
When your pay for services or products online, your purchases
are secure by ordering through the PayPal server. For more information
on PayPal's security encryption for security card transactions,
please visit the PayPal website.
VIII. Change in privacy statement
Thomas & Associates, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw or
change its Policies & Terms at any time. If and when we do,
we shall revise the "last updated" date at the bottom
